Welcome to Dr. Panchik's Speech and Language Program
My name is Dr. Ann Panchik and I am an ASHA-certified, state-licensed speech-language pathologist with 28 years of clinical experience. In April 2021, I completed a post-professional, clinical doctorate at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. I'm excited and proud to present my research, The Effects of AAC-Aided Recasts via Telepractice on the Grammar of Children with Severe Language Disorders at ASHA's National Convention this November. This will be my 13th year at South Hanover.
My primary role is to diagnose and treat speech and language disorders as they relate to a child's education. I also
-Provide supervision to students enrolled in graduate-level, speech-language pathology programs.
-Mentor clinical fellows.
-Educate students in the general education classroom about communicating with students who are AAC users.
-Facilitate support groups for parents of AAC users.
-Advocate for inclusive practices.
-Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote successful communication for all students.
