August 21 - Back to School Night - Look for committee signups at Back to School Night!

Oct. 8 – Bingo Night -  Bring the family for a fun night of bingo with lots of prizes and one of a kind raffle items. All the money goes towards our fun run/walk.  Chair - Tracy Ward tarcyb199@yahoo.com

Oct. 18 – Fall Fun Run/Walk - As our biggest fundraiser, the kids send out mailers asking for sponsors as they run/walk as many laps as they can around our track.  Chair - Laura Otto lotto12379@yahoo.com

Nov. 7 - Goodies with Grandparents - Bring your grandparents to school for a fun dessert in the evening.  Chair - Denise Koser denisekoser@gmail.com         

Nov. 11 – Veterans Day Celebration - The kids honor our veterans with a special assembly during the school day.  Chair -Jody Cassel jcassel@ldsd.org

Dec. 7 – Breakfast with Santa - Bring the whole family for a delicious breakfast and meet Santa!  Chair - Dani Hauer danihauerpto@gmail.com

Dec.  – Book Fair - Foster your love of reading by adding to your home library. Shop during the Santa breakfast. Purchases help add books to our school library.  Chair - Sarah Conley sconley@ldsd.org    

Jan. 31 - Movie Night - Enjoy pizza, popcorn and a feature movie.   Chair - Katie Riordan kjriordan1@gmail.com              

March  19– Academic Fair - Research a topic that you love and show what you’ve learned with a creative presentation!  Co-Chairs - Steve Crozier & Amy Gula       

April  9,10,11– Donuts with GrownUps - Spend some quality time with a special person at this special breakfast.  Chair - Denise Koser denisekoser@gmail.com  

April  - Dance - The school dance is a rocking hit!   Chair - Denise Koser denisekoser@gmail.com   

June 4 - 5th Grade Promotion - The graduation ceremony and reception of the school's 5th graders.  5th grade parent volunteers are needed to work with the teachers and principal to plan the promotion of the 5th grade class as well as a reception with light refreshments after the ceremony. 4th grade parents are needed to shadow to prepare for the following year. 

June - Field Day - A day of games is organized for all of the students near the end of the school year.  Volunteers are needed to prepare and help the day of the event.  Chair - Katie Garver kgarver@ldsd.org

Ice Cream Fridays (Spirit Fridays) - Students can buy an ice cream treat after they finish their lunch.  Chair - Jen Crockett jenniferfallabel@yahoo.com

Hospitality/On Call Committee (Throughout the year) - This committee is responsible for providing 2-3 luncheons per school year for the South Hanover staff.  Volunteers are needed to set up and serve for the luncheons or make/donate a variety of food, supplies, desserts and drinks. Volunteers may also be needed on an "on call" basis to assist with other various duties (ex. addressing envelopes).  Chairs - Nicole Youngling nicyoungling1030@gmail.com and Christina Graybill christina.rasi@gmail.com

Room Parents - Volunteers are needed to work with the teachers and other parent volunteers for each classroom.  Some room parent duties include party organization, phone calls and various teacher requests.

Falcon Packs - Wednesdays during the school year.  Assist with picking up food that will be given to Lower Dauphin Falcon Pack families, delivering that food to school, and returning bins as needed.  Chair - Crystal McClintock brentandcrystal@gmail.com

SpiritWear - Coordinates spiritwear sales throughout the school year.  Chair - Christina Graybill christina.rasi@gmail.com  

School Spirit Committee - Coordinates events for our South Hanover Elementary families as a way to encourage school-wide friendships and interaction.  Chair - Lauren Morse laurenqmorse@yahoo.com
